LP-40D --- A new tool for the project

Hello all. I purchased the LP-40D last month. First off, let me say how impressed I was with the shipping. I ordered it on Friday and DHL delivered it Monday afternoon. It made it all the way to PA without a scratch.

I've been doing a frame off rebuild (not a restoration) on a 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ-40). I've been buying more tools than parts over the past year and I had a lot of tools to begin with. I've probably gone thru over 100 4-1/2" cutting wheels since the start. Never thought about plasma because of cost. I couldn't really justify the expense. Then, about 6 weeks ago while reading the forums at WW, I saw the name Longevity. After reading everything I could find on this company's products, I made the call. Wish I would have heard about you guys a year ago. The amount of time I could have saved... I don't want to think about it.

Well anyway, here are a few pictures of the machine:

It was like Christmas!

Great packaging. Not a scratch.

Out of the box.

Thanks to all at Longevity for supplying an affordable plasma for those of us that can't justify "Name Brand". As far as I can see, fit, form and function are outstanding.
