Here's some pics and explanation of my WVO system

In this pic you see the 80 gallon clean/processing tank made out of SS. It has about 30 feet of 1/2" titanium line coiled in it for hot water from the diesel fired boiler to heat the tank. The boiler is a Pro Heat and sitting right below the red expansion tank made out of an air tank. There is a hydrolic (sp) pump that pumps the oil up to and drives the centrifuge once the oil reaches about 140.

The Pro Heat also provides hydronic heat for my bus & hot water, it can also be plumed into my engine for pre heating it in cold weather but not done at this time. The pump and tank has several 3 way valves so I can pump from anywhere to anywhere.


This is the centrifuge that spins at about 7,000 rpm slinging the dirt to the wall and caking there it also suspends water as long as it is spinning.

Is this a mobile unit? Do you have any drawings showing the movement of the oil?

I have one somewhere but don't know where but basically I pump oil into the big ss tank using the pump you see on the floor to the left, it has 2 3way valves on it one at suction side and one at pressure side. I turn on the pro heat and when it gets hot enough I start the pump pumping now from the tank up to the centrifuge, then the oil just gravity feeds back down into the ss tank. I usually run it continuous overnight, it will do 60 gallons an hour so by letting it run for 8 hours it gets it really clean. I can then either pump it into the tank in the engine compartment that serves as my fuel tank or into a storage tank in the front bay. I have about 250 gallons of oil right now.

Nice setup. I'm looking into what I will need for a conversion. So far I have the truck and a diesel engine in the garage.

I was about to build a WVO system til the tax collector towed my two diesel vehicles... something abt parking in the wrong place for too long???
Had a pooqwat and a vovo. both w turbos.
But they gone now.
Gonna try alcohol when I get the plumbing project done.
