Who has made some? I'm looking at making a camber/caster gauge that mounts to the wheel with a toe measuring attachment and some turning/sliding plates. Just looking for ideas.

Right now I just use a tape on the edge of the tires but I'm looking for a more professional way to do it. The way I have planned will still use a tape but will have some slots hanging off the camber/caster fixture for the tape to slide through.

To measure the toe on our old stock-cars, we used to use an adjustable tent pole - crude, but it worked well enough, and we won our fair share of races.

Hey, that's a pretty good idea. Easy to do with only one person too.

I park on a level spot, then I put four paint cans around the car. I have four lengths of bed frame that I clamp together and place on the paint cans and adjust length and posisiton to touch the tires. I line up the bed frame with the frame or unibody seams under to see if the car will crab. From here you can adjust all four wheels to match the chassis.

That's good, WW... When I worked on the trucks, another guy showed me how he did em by jacking up the front axle, then driving a sinker through a board, and letting it mark the tire surface when he spun the wheel, then measured front and back as you described... It worked well enough for a dump truck !
