just have 2 discs one with XP and the other with linux and swap the disc to which software youwant to use. I did it for XP and windows 7. Just shut down the computer and swap the disc and turn it on and your ready to go. As long as the disc with created on that computer you will have no problem. swapping between computer with different mother boards is a problem.

    have fun

you sure can tom... you could also have just two regular hard drives and load separate os' on each drive, and just specify which os to load on start up.. you could also have 1 large drive and partition it and load the different os' on each partition and choose which os on boot up..

I plan on doing the initial set up with both ubuntu and winXP and then using both setups and seeing which i feel more comfortable with using, then dump the os i wont use, and clear off the other partition for a little extra space.

I'll use an external usb hard drive and or a large flash drive for storage.. they have some large flash drives now..
