LC 518D Plasma VS Miller spectrum 350 Plasma

So at my work I do a lot of fabrication and the plasma cutter I use is a Miller SpectrumŽ 375. After using it for some hours, I noticed that the cutting is just as good as my 518. I even cut the exact gauge metal bars of stock I had with both machines and they were exactly the same! It's amazing how my LC 518 cost almost a third of a plasma cutter that can only cut! Longevity has done it once again applaud

Oh yeah, almost forgot! The ground wire on the Miller was a total POS! The Longevity's ground cable is so hefty! A+!

That doesn't surprise me one bit but it is still good to hear from someone who actually uses both products.

Exactly! Cause everyone gets so hyped up about the brand names do don't really take the quality of the product into consideration.

You can also take into consideration that we offer a 5 year parts and labor warranty that covers the machine + all accessories. Millers warranty does not come close to this type of coverage without an extended PAID warranty package. We stand behind our product and we appreciate our customers that do as well. Thanks again for your post 22lambo.

    HI Stan,

Welcome to the forums. Our New WeldMax 164i and 205i are amazing machines. I have attached some photos of these units here that are not edited. Also, this machine was mislabeled at our factory so please do not confuse it with the WeldAll series which does AC/DC

As for the machine, it will have full pilot arc plasma cutting capability, uses a wp26 tig toch and also capable of a smaller wp20.

In comparison, i think this machine for the price and quality can compete with Miller. We are improving our models continuously and still offer a better deal (this is my opinion of course, but I hear the same from many of our customers.)

Check out the photos and we will also have updates.

Ok, I like Miller, so not starting anything, but I also like Lincoln and have purchased 4 Lincoln machines in the last ten years (not that Millers would not have worked. With that said, I found this site by drooling over the Miller Spectrum Extreme 625 plasma cutter. After searching for reviews, and finding this site I am now looking at a longevity 60I. I need to make one more college payment for my eldest son, then lick my wounds and get a new plasma cutter.

You know it is funny I used to bash people who owned Longevity until I started to do some research, and some of it was done on the Miller website, found this site looking for an affordable Miller unit. Now I own a LS200Pi Long~ one.The longtime users are disappointed about how the quality of alot of their Miller products like ground cables have dropped. And some people compare the top of the line Miller gun with Longevity's entrance unit which isn't fair.I know at one time their was some bad history but I've seem for instance a dramatic change on the some of the forums to respectability for Longevity products.Alot of people that criticize never ever bother to try one or use a Longevity welder.Their are some improvements to make, but alot of it is expanding parts and unit distribution.
