2011 200 dx

I've had my 200 DX for a couple weeks now and I have been very impressed. I started 14 years ago with an Idealarc , 4 years ago the company replaced it with a Syncrowave . The 200 DX seems to match the syncrowave in every way until about 180 amps on clean aluminum cast, which isnt really a fair comparison considering the syncro is a 300.

I'm very interested in that DX does it come with a Foot peddle ?
My Econotig just has the roller adjuster on the gun and most of my welding is done on the bench...
So I think the peddle might work better in that application.

Thanks for the review skelchne, that's the machine I'm going to get unless I get a multi-process. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, besides the included foot pedal you can use an on off type button on the torch but not both at the same time?

That is correct either 2T or 4T with torch switch or full pedal control

I own a Tigweld200 and like the machine alot. I am looking at the DX as an upgrade within the next year. I prefer the voltage control at my foot now that I've got the coordination down with my hands. Thanks for the info.
