    Multi-voltage multi-welder?

Greetings. I have been lurking around trying to talk myself into an LS 160 or 200 and given the nature of the documentation I would like to know from anyone with experience...

Are any of the All in One units able to run on 110v (at reduced settings of course)?

    Hi Ed,

The LS 160 and LS 200 machines are 240 vac machines they are not dual voltage. I do not know about the other machines. Unfortaly the specks are not shown on the main Longevity site. The site is under construction.
From memory the dual voltage machines are plasma cutters and MIG machines.

My LS-200PI powered up and displayed a max of 105 amps when plugged into a 115 volt pigtail, versus 200 amps when connected to 240 volts, but it would not function with this pigtail.

robrob, I would not operate the 200PI on 120vac unless you check with Longevity. Here are the specks from the Longevity web site.

    Specifications:

    General Specifications:
    Genuine Infineon IGBT based electronics
Operating Voltage: 220/230/240 VAC 50/60Hz Input
    Open Circuit Voltage: 60-80V
60% Duty Cycle @ Rated Amperages
    Weight: 68 lbs
Thermal Overload Protection with Large Size Cooling Fan
    Size: 17L x 8W x 11.5H inches

You're right Keith, the LS-200PI will not weld with the above 115 volt pigtail. I just tried it once and luckily didn't blow up the welder.
