A short time ago I noticed someone had questions about a Longevity dual-voltage machine, and how to wire it up. I ran into a similar situation when I was evaluating another dual-voltage machine (Multi-Plaz 3500). I wanted the flexibility to be able to use 110v when 220 wasn't available, without rewiring the machine.
I just wired the machine with a normal 50amp 220v male plug, and made up an adapter cord with a 50amp 220v female receptacle on one end, and a 110v male plug on the other. - works great, is safe, and didn't cost too much.
Who knows, it may contravene some electrical code somewhere, but it works for me, and I don't plan on killing myself anytime soon.
By the way, I also used to use this set-up for decreasing the output of my old Tri-Star 220v AC/DC stick machine (not required any more now that I have my LS200-P).
I don't see why this wouldn't work for a Longevity machine as well - but don't take me to court over it!!!
Attached is a picture of the contraption.
