    Tig question

I wrote in earlier, however I do not see my question posted. I have the Longivity 160 Arcmate..When I start to use the 'tig' it knocks out the florsent light right above it. I have changed out two fixtures today. The radio went off too and acted very unusual as the tuner was not working. In about an hour after I quit welding the radio came back on but the light was still dead. Anyone care to guess what is going on? The welder is on an entirly different circut then the light.

    Skip,
That sounds like your High Frequency start is causing that.
    Good Luck,

The radio is deffinately caused by the hf but I never heard of the floressent lights go and I have welded right under them for years. Mybe it'd just a coincedence.
