that double door is made from 1 inch square stock and the framing around it was burned out of 1 inch... he paid 10 grand for the door and almost twice that much to get it installed. i will make the powder coater warranty his work if it wasnt still good....lol.....

he had to hire a contractor to come in and remove part of his house, bury w-10 beam 14 ft down and then i welded mc-10 channel across the top. then the contractor replaced the front of his house.... wood alone would not handle the weight of that door....lol.... i had to hire a hot shotter to carry the doors up to his place, cause only trailer i had at the time had 3.5k axles and i bent the rear spring shackle.... flippin thing was heavy!

Had a feeling it qualified as a security door.

Ok so I made the soda blaster - it works ok but I have no idea how the person at the link got those results with it. They had to use 40 pounds of baking soda to get that stuff that clean. I think it needs a narrower tip to concentrate the soda a little more - it just seemed to pump tons and go everywhere. I also bought a thing of salt and it worked too - similar results cheaper price. The only thing with the salt is it seems to have more spay back.

Completely out there on this one, doesn't salt have the potential to warp panels? The whole crystal structure bit like sand.

Granted, not going to do as much out of a DIY rig.

Agreed on a finer tip for the soda, it'd up the output velocity.

    I have no idea.
I just tried the salt to see if it would take off rust and because it cost a good bit less than baking soda.

No worries. I was just excited for a minute when someone actually tried something I suggested.
