I wish I had a couple of aluminum boats I could patch up. May not would want to do it for public but I certainly wouldn't mind getting some of those with pin holes that end up in the scrap yard. I would patch em up and re sell em.

I really love the chimney story. Also the DQ Blizzard story and I definitely feel for the computer repair story because I have lived that one too many times.

first thing a guy should do if hes duck hunting out of a boat is NOT to buy a riveted hull.. i use to duck hunt alot, i had one of the war eagle welded boats with a go-devil motor was alot of money tied up in that rig.. my best friend Drake (my hunting lab) passed away and sold everything off but my shotgun, cant seem to go duck hunting again without my buddy..

i always wanted one of the hand crafted boats out of Louisiana Custom Built Aluminum Boats Custom Aluminum Shallow Water Boats Custom Aluminum Mud Boats Duck Boats

Link to the funniest story about a nitty cheapskate client. David Thorne is one funny guy if you look up his other work.
This one's about a guy trying to get some free design work. I hope the link works.

If it's an insight to the way the world works... I've got a degree in... Cooking. Guess what, I can sell a mortgage in 15 minutes and make as much as I'd make breaking my ass in a kitchen for an 80 hour week. Guess which I'm going to do. Cooking's a hobby again.

I get that all the time, what a bunch of non sence, right? Glad u walked away. My customers do the same thing only worse, they will tell me how they just spent $10000. for a set cylinder heads for thier race car and can't pay me a few hundred to weld on a safety device. Then they try it themselves and come back later and it's twice the price to fix it then!!
