Water and electricity do not mix. There is always a shock hazard when you are arc welding/plasma cutting don't make it worse by adding water. On CNC tables it is common to have a water catch pan, but this is a controlled environment and the operator can not step into the pan or kick the pan splashing water onto feet etc. If you want to catch the splatter then use a catch pan with out the water.
