    Nice to Meet You!

New to the site and wanted to say hello. Have been doing light restoration on mustangs for awhile and have taken the next step in heavy duty Midwest rust repairs. Got a 65 mustang that is going to need some work. Most people I think would run from this thing - gauging the reponse from family and friends (you bought that?). Going to be a college grad present for my daughter. Already can lay a bead with my mig but looking to get into some plasma cutting. Looking forward to exchanging tips with others on the site.

    Palerider (aka Bob)

Hi Bob and welcome to the forum. What part of the rust belt are you from? I live in Michigan , if you are anywhere nearby you are welcome to stop over and see how nicely the Longevity plasma cutters work first hand.
If you can, post some photos of the Mustang project. Some before shots would be nice to see exactly what condition you started from.
There is usually a contest on the forum for welding or cutting equipment. The current one ended today so a new one will be starting in a week or two. Be sure to sign up, the odds have been about 1 in 20 of winning.
    Again welcome,
    Dan

Thanks from Valparaiso Indiana. I just stumbled on this website looking at plasma cutters. Kind of impressed with longevity website and marketing blitz - like the wanrranty also. The first pic is a 70 I just finished was not too bad to start with some floor pan patching and trunk area. The other is a 65 I just bought - what a mess. Although kind of excited about it - love a good challenge. Thanks for the welcome aboard.

    Palerider:
Welcome from me too. - Nice Mustangs. I have a '67 fastback - 289 4-spd. that I really like, but i haven't had it on the road for a while. - - It's funny - Way back when I bought it (sometime around 1970 or so), I just needed a car - and it was a pretty good deal ($2000) - didn't particularly care about the car. Now, there's no way in God's green earth you could pry it away from me.

    Cheers,
    Art R.
