    Hello Everyone!

Hey guys! I am new to the forum and hope to get many answers here. And possibly be able to help someone else as well. I live in the Hou.,Tx. area. I've been welding since 1971. I have been welding lots of SS and aluminum lately, mostly on my boats. But grew up in the Chemical plant and refinery industry; later rigging out and working gas distribution pipelines. Happy to be onboard. Don

Welcome Lonewolf. You have found a great forum to hang at. Right now they are still trying to straighten out some problems done by a hacker but when they get it back right you will be in with a great group of guys. When they get it where we can post photos again be sure and let us see some of your work. Would have welcomed you earlier but right now I have to go at it thru the back door.

Poodle: not sure how to post up pics on here yet, but will check into come tomorrow. I built a complete airboat this summer, stainless/aluminum. Working on tunneling my PolarKraft now, should finish by next weekend. Took lots of pics. My high freq is laying down on me(lincoln box).Glad I found the place. I was checking into getting a new machine from Longivity when I stumbled on it. thanks again! Don

Hey Lonewolf, they just about have this forum back up and running on all cylinders now. I bet someone will jump in and tell you how to post the pics. Check out Stans review of the new multi function Weld-all 200PI. He knows his stuff and says its a keeper. Now I guess I will have to get one. For the price and the warranty you throw rocks at the Lincoln.

Poodle-good about fixing the site! I just got the CMC hydralic jack plate on and the Yamaha mounted.Got some great pics of that too! I raised the transom 14" total, gutted all the back boards and went back with 3/4" marine plywd. Going to take the boat over to a friend that owns an outboard repair shop tomorrow and make sure I've got it right. I've really got that 50hp up there, but the prop is in the tunnel, and I can raise 2 1/2" or lower 2/1/2" (new at tunnel hulls).
I was checking into the 250amp Longivity TIG machine-A/C--D/C and possibly get the water cooler setup to go with it. It'd be strictly for heliarc; got plenty of stick rod machines. I've got questions like would my weldcraft hook up to it. I am not familiar with the brand, but willing to give it a shot.

Hi Don and welcome to the forum. I have posted a work around for uploading photos until the developers get it fixed. You can find it in the announcements section.
