Having recently purchased a 9 liter TIG cooler, I thought that it would be fitting to join this forum.
I have been welding, starting with gas, since 1960 and branched out to stick and tig in about 1969.
In another life I was a plumber, since retired.
I began blacksmithing as a hobby around 1986 or so, and found that it blends nicely with the welding skills, and I have used all those skills to further my other hobbies.
I have a 1970 Boss 302 mustang, and a 1968 Bridgestone 100 racer, a 1980 Suzuki GS1100E and a 1981 Suzuki GS450L. Used to have a 1966 Mustang 6 banger convertaible, but I gasve that to the kid to finish the restoration... He done good..
Living in the frozen north like I do, my daily drivers sit outside and the garage is my metal shop.
Welding equipment is:
Smith Gas welding torches both aircraft and medium sizes
Airco 2 stage regulators
Miller xmt304 (repaired by me)
Miller 200 SD (repaired by me)

Smith proportional gas mixer for MIG
Cut 40 plasma cutter
phaseLink 18KW Induction heater (for forging and heating)
LONGEVITY Cooler 9 liter
Shop made metal casting furnace and flasks
LOTS of hammers, anvils, tongs, clamps, a fly press, dies and tooling and a beautiful stock pile (scrap according to my wife).
