Here is a video of the caribou crossing the highway. I don't normally carry a camera, but I just so happened to have mine with me on the way to work and it was perfect timing!
I am located in Gillam, Manitoba, Canada. It's a Manitoba Hydro town, and we produce a lot of hydraulic generated electricity for the province of Manitoba. Any of the surplus energy we generate is exported into some of the Northern States. We have 3 dams up here, and a total generation capacity of about 3900MW (mega watts) We are about 120 miles from Churchill, Manitoba (Hudson Bay)
