Hi backhoe and welcome to the forum. We like pictures here so be sure to include some showing your work. Also, keep an eye out for the next contest here. The odds of winning a great new Longevity machine are very good.

Welcome fellow Mississippian! I've enjoyed my time here and have learned a lot from these guys and hope to continue learning. I haven't ventured off into blacksmithing very deep but it is one of my interests and I've been trying to learn as much as I can on the subject. I just joined the IFI forum today as I stumbled on it looking for information on making a steel basket to use as a handle. It wasn't exactly the info I was looking for since I wasn't forging but rather cold forming but it still proved resourceful.

    Hello and welcome.

I have done some hobby black smithing and enjoyed it. I am not very good at it though. I haven't had time to do any recently because of other projects.
