Hi ya'll,

This is my first post on this forum. I post most of my project updates on youtube, but can take some stills and post them here as well. I found this site through the longevity videos. I currently have a Lincoln Electric flux core wire welder. I am 100% self taught in welding. Ultimately I would like to open a shop to build/chop motorcycles, and thus would like to teach myself TIG welding. My current Trike is all Flux core MIG welded. I figure that I've seen enough folks win welders here that maybe I could throw my name in the ring.

p.s. The Busted Knuckle Inland Northwest is what I currently call my garage... it used to be The Busted Knuckle untill I moved to Washington.

Hi FH5 and welcome to the forum. We like pictures here so be sure to include some showing your work. Also, jump on in on the new contest. The odds of winning a great new Longevity machine are very good.
By the way, you can post Youtube videos here if you're so inclined.

Welcome Flyinhigh5,I enjoy the same hobbies you do.I have plans to rake the front end on my bike,that's been modified, maybe next year.A lot of info here,and lots of experience to help you along the way.

Thanks guys! My youtube is Flyinhigh5... I know real original... and about OCC... My favorite Soap Opera... Now I wish they would get back to building bikes... I generally do most of my welding and vids on the weekends... We just had a daughter so evenings after work get a little hectic... (My wife tells me I have to wait at least 6 years to teach her to weld...)
