the viking is a flying death trap.... 330 horse IO-540 motor w/ 3 blade prop... wood wing and cloth body and a TINY 4 place cabin.... capable of 1400ft per min climb at speed and 203 knt cruise at 75%.... i'm not a small fella, and its just a lil TOO cramped in the cabin... besides, you have to replace the flaps often for the bolts ripping out the wood and the motor cant keep the exhaust on and it falls, shorting out main harnesses and starting an engine fire...... note: wood wing+cloth body+engine fire = bad news

the viking is a hot rod plane.... yes, they are/ were made by bellanca same as my citabria.... but i DIG the grumman tiger... its a metal plane and about 10 inches to the sides and 30 inches to the rear larger in the cabin than the viking, but its cruise speed is around 190 knots @75% and 4 gph less burn
