Hi - noobie here

Hi. Another noob here.

I got started welding a couple years ago after i bought my first Lincoln mig. My grandpa did all sorts of fabrication, so i got my inspiration from him. I just didn't realize it until recently.

I have been researching plasma cutters for quite some time (couple years). I have been looking at tons of auctions of offbrands, and other brands, reading reviews, etc..
There is just so much conflicting info out there and bad mouthing of chinese products and people that bash machines if it isnt a Miller or Lincoln, then apparently its no good. I have recently narrowed down to 2 businesses.. 1 being Longevity

The more I have been researching Longevity Plasma cutters (40d, 50d, 40i and 50i), i like what i see and the price is competitive. It seems that they [Longevity inc] seem to stand behind their product and it appears if there is an issue, they work towards a solution.

I have no questions really, but i will continue to keep my eyes on the forums and get more info and im excited to see others experiences with Longevity equip. So far so good from what i am seeing. I hope i can glean enough info soon to make a decision and get to cutting/creating.

I'm only one guy but I love my Longevity Tig and the customer service was great while I was making the purchase. I can't say much about the service after the purchase because my machine is still running strong! I plan to upgrade to a bigger Tig in the future and it's very likely to be another Longevity.
