New guy from Iowa

Hi from Iowa. I have welded as a hobby for several years. My latest challenge is to TIG aluminum. My current project is a 65 Shelby Cobra kit car that I plan on racing and driving in closed course timed events. I purchased a Longevity cut 50 plasma about 5 years ago and have had great luck with it. I would like to purchase a larger MIG unit to replace my small lincoln. I own a miller syncrowave 250 AC/DC with cooler and a small lincoln 155 weldpak. I love to go out in my shop and work on things to take my mind off of the daily grind from work.

Hi Cobra and welcome to the forum. We like pictures here so be sure to include some showing your work. Also, keep an eye out for the next contest here. The odds of winning a great new Longevity machine are very good.
That looks like a real beast, it should be great fun to drive.
