hello ,i'm new here, i guess i'm what you guy's call an old timer.i'm 56 and i've been welding since 1980. i'm a pipe fitter ,metal fabricator & combination welder. i've done stainless steel piping work for the chemical, electric power ,water co.'s & food industries. also worked for a co. that made hyperbaric decompression chambers, flight simulators ,& other products for our military. as well as products for the medical industry , railroad car size autoclave sterilizers, capable of sterilizing 20,000 iv bags at once. i'm happiest when i'm tig welding. it seems recently it's become quite popular. it's good to see some younger people,interested in learning some skills, that seemed to have been forgotten or looked down on, for quite some time..i will try and find some photos to post,later. thanks .....
