    Seabee

    Hi everyone,I'm seabee from Ct, I don't work anymore (disabled vet) been welding half assed for years. I have a hobart 180 mig ,oxyac set and now a LS-200P.Still trying to figure it all out. The last time I used a tig was in 1975,these things have come along way Seabee

    Seabee, do you happen to be a Seabee? My dad was in the Navy for 22 years, 18 as a Seabee. I spent most of my childhood in Gulfport on the Seabee base down there. I think I get a lot of my tinker-ism from him.

    Welcome to the forum. I spent a couple of years in New London on a riveted hull ship with wooden decks.

    Mornin' I know I'm late about a month but yes I am was a Seabee,I was with MCB7 out of Davisville RI, I was a builder,but tore up my knee in VietNam. I went thru Gulfport right after Hurricane Camille 1969.
