    New to Forum

Just wanted to say hi. I'm Josh from Iowa, been playing with metal off and on for a couple years now. Looking to rebuild a snowplow moldboard & think a plasma would help tons with the fab on it. Originally looked at another company that was offering a similar product on Pirate 4X4, but have seen their customer service go down as of late. Longevity was recommended as an alternative, so here I am.

    Re: New to Forum

Well, unfortunately I didn't end up w/ a Longevity product, I found a good deal on a Hypertherm Powermax 30 on e-Bay for 650, so I spent the little extra for the name brand. I'll still keep my eye on the Longevity brand in case I ever need a second machine. Might convince a friend to get one.

    Josh,

You are welcome to the forum. Congrats on the Hypertherm Powermax. Also, note we have a Hyperthem forum here, which we just added. Hopefully some more hypertherm users will come and join.

    Thanks
