    HEY EVERYONE

    Hey yall my name is clay im 16 years old. Ive been welding for two years at my high school, and ive already become one of the best there, ive been introduced into all three types of welding, and some plasma cam and oxy acetelyne torch.

    Welcome Clay! You certainly are getting an earlier start in this business than I did. I never touched a welder till I was 50 years old...

    Hi Clay! and welcome to the forum. I started when I was about the same age. My first project was welding the rear end leaf spring supports on a 1956 Chevy Nomad. I did practice first on some scrap metal, wow that was a long time ago. Welding for me is a hobby, it's a lot of fun.

    Do not be afraid to ask questions, I still do and am about 3 times your age.

    That's about the same time I learned how to weld but all there was then was just a stick welder and an oxy torch. I haven't used it as an occupation but it sure does make life much better to have acquired those skills. I wish you much success in whatever you attempt.
