    Howdy, from NM

My name is Johnny, I'm from Carlsbad, New Mexico, and yes, it's part of the United States. We're just west of Texas. Traveling around the country I'm always surprised at the people who ask for my Greencard!
I've been welding most of my adult life, oilfield mostly, chemical plants, construction and chasing drilling rigs around NM and west Texas. I'm real partial to the SA 200 Lincoln and Victor torches. I am disabled and retired now after 35 years, but I'm still active to a point.

Welcome Spurs. I love NM it is a beautiful state. I imagine that chemical plant welding was challenging.
