    Military "STEELWORKER" vol. 1&2

Volume one, has info on metal types basic heat treatment, cutting, brazing and welding:
    http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... /14250.htm

volume two, mostly about assembling stuff, wire rope, rigging etc.
    http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... /14251.htm

I recommend getting the introduction and reading the tables of contents, then downloading what you want.

I don't know how up-to-date it is, and I haven't seen much of it, but I like it so far.
