Here is a video of a machine MIG weld with no arc so you can see the patterns. Might be helpful to those who aren't exactly proficient at MIG yet. (Like me)

I need Tig welding especially for tube. I can do flat fine. but I just tried some AL tubing on some road bike areobars and I had to grind everything down b/c I was embarrassed by the beads that looked like something my dog produces every morning.

Longevity LS200-PI multi-purpose cutter/welder,
Miller 180 Auto-Set MIG,
Custom 5hp compressor,
The trick is leave a gap between the pipes or if no gap is used have a slight bevel. Tack four times around the piece so you divide it into quarters. Then weld a quarter at a time. Don't stop either untill that quarter is done.
