    MigWeld 250P and Spool Gun

I have a friend that is looking at a new MIG but needs a spool gun to go with it. The web tells me I can use a spool gun with it but he has heard it is a misprint. So my question is can the new 250 work with a spool gun? If no any word on a new model that will work with a spool gun. I know the 205 will work but he was hoping for a 250. Thanks

It looks like all the longevity MIG's have that capability. The 250 being the second from the biggest should definitely have it. Just give longevity a call Tomarrow. They'll be able to straighten you out really quick.

    250p and spool gun

I just purchased a migweld 250p on 12/29/2010 and was told it is spool gun capable. You may want to check with longevity directly on this one. I purchased through Simon.

Hi mdkrusemark and welcome to the forum. We like pictures here so be sure to include some showing your work. Also, check out for the contest here. The odds of winning a great new Longevity machine are very good. When you get a chance please post a bit about yourself in introduce yourself section so we can get to know you.

migweld 250p is not spool gun capable. Even though it is advertised as being capable!
