Kinda made the whole spool gun thing moot for now. Just bought a miller spool mate 200 welder with a sm1 gun. Kinda bulky but it is low usage on both items. Bought it from the professional welder that I have done business with for 15 years or so. He said it has very little use as he just didn't/doesn't weld aluminum that much and that was all he used it for. Decided to upgrade to a single unit not a standalone one. It came with 10 tips and 3 spools of wire.....So I have a hobart set up for sheetmetal, an Esab for heavier steel and a miller for Aluminum. I'm running to get a respirator today. I'm running out of room.......

Pretty good now if I can just remember to turn on the helmet before I weld. Taking some getting used too, not used to welding as quickly as I need to with Al. Also need a little more heat on my welds. Slowly...........

You should post some pics of the fleet that you have developed and let us see how those aluminum welds are coming as well.
