Volt/Amp curve
Okay since I will be getting a "real" mig soon there are some things that I need to have explained to me. What is the difference in steep vs flat curves and why do some machines come with a switch (or something) to pick a flat slope. I want a technical answer and a "real" answer which can help me actually weld if possible.I also see on my ESAB manual a "load line" THanks. I wil be asking more technical questions on the future as well as others. I plan to keep my little Hobart 120 and set it up for sheetmetal. TIA
BTW I don't need a Technical on volts and amps/ resistance per say though as I am proficient with Ohms law and theory's pertaining to such
