Turn your post flow down to the minimum.

The Tungsten needs to have the adequate post flow time set to protect the tungsten as it cools the time increases as the tungsten size increases same with amperage

Even at the minimum my unit will flow for about 3 seconds. That's why I said turn it all the way down. Also, it will reveal if there is a problem or not. If turning it down doesn't change anything you have to look a bit further.

Is it something that is consistent at the amount of time it post flows or is the time of post flow random, my post flow is right on the money so their is a chance your gas solenoid may be sticking, so pick a time sequence, say 5 seconds and with compressed air try the function and time it out checking for error. If it consistent then don't worry about it.

Check out the DOWN SLOPE knob it should be turned all the way down when welding with non pulsed DC. If it is not it can fool you into thinking that the post flow is still working and it is not.
