Does anyone out here own a WeldAll 256pi

Just wondering if anyone on the forum has the WeldAll 256pi yet?
Just looking for some feedback on this machine!

Becoming interested in the 200pi & 256pi just want to see if it's worth the extra $$.

P.S. Seems the 250pi just lacks TIG controlability! Input on that would be nice to hear aswell!

    Thanks,

    Aaron

I think what has happened with the changes in multifunction machines is that the 200PI and the 250PI have similiar plasma cutting abilities but not Tig welding abilites, one is 200 and one 250 and the effort is with the 256PI to give a machine that is superior in all features to all others in the multifunction lineup and so added another 10 amps of plasma cutting power, how much is that in real life we will have to wait and see when someone does some testing. So, if you are looking for the Longevity's top of line mulit-function that would be the one to choose.

The 160pi, 200pi, 250pi, 256pi are all three function machines. Stick, TIG, Plasma Cutter are the three functions. All four machines will weld aluminum and have similar control knobs. Each machine, starting with the 160pi steps up the welding amperage with the increase in the of the model number. The plasma cutter is the same, a 160pi has a 40 amp plasma cutter, 200pi & 250pi have a 50 amp plasma cutter. The 256 has a 60 amp plasma cutter. I have a 200pi and I think it is a great machine.

    Thanks guys!
Yeah I think that for only $200.00 more, the 256pi is the only way to go, there's not much that I would not be able to do with that machine!
Now I just need to figure out which arm and leg I can do without!

$200 is a chunk, to me, and well worth considering...
Bottom line here is serious, but arm & leg territory is over at red & blue.

I spent a lot of time looking at capability, then put that up against how fast the unit could pay for itself.
    Good luck with your shopping!
