    200P Multifunction Welder

For those who are evaluating what unit to buy, here's just a few comments on the Longevity 200P Multifunctional unit....and they are all good!

I tried to compare many of the different units out there including even the high priced Miller units and decided to try the Multipurpose units offered by Longevity. I can honestly say it's the best decision I ever made and it was based mostly on support from the company I finally bought from and overall performance of the unit.

I received the unit and worked it hard for a month and all continues to work just fine, just a great unit and the funny thing is I buy some consumables like gas and stuff from a local Miller dealer and they have told me.....'why don't we come out with something like these multifunction units"... pretty amazing.

Finally all is well, unit works well and I can add Aluminum to my expertise now, does a great job and has plenty of capacity for fairly large aluminum. Really a fine TIG unit as well as does great plasma cutting and even good ole stick welding.

So for my dime, no better deal out there...email me if you have any questions....

I to am happy with My LS-200P. Shortly after I received it the plasma quit working, so I promptly contacted Simon with the symptoms, and the parts were on the way by the end of the day, within a week it was up and running again. But this didn’t mean I was down all the way as Simon explained that the plasma and the Tig were using different boards and I could still use the Tig while waiting for the parts. I have used it pretty hard since and have had no further problem. With the controls on the Tig side you can tune it to a bugs rear and get it set perfect.
My wife worked in electronics for near 40 years and she has convinced me that if something is going to go wrong in electronics it will fail right off, and if it doesn’t, it’s likely it will last years.
I ‘am’ a happy camper Bob

I have the Longevity WeldPro 160P and ForceCut LP80d and have nothing but great things to say about them both. My first 160P was a DOA but Simon offered the best customer support I have ever had in my 61 years making my purchase experience a very positive one. Kudos to Simon and the Longevity line.

    Thumbs up

I have a 160P, actualy the second one, the first was sent back to Longevity, I think the first one suffered from operator error and nothing else. The current machine works GREAT!(the operator has been trained)
Every time I start it, I am amaized at the options that are available....

I was welding 2 sheets of 1/4" aluminum together when the torch started shooting a big fireball. Melted my tungsten and left a yellow residue on the torch. At first I thought that the tungsten got contaminated somehow, so I ground it down and started over. As soon as I stared welding it melted my tungsten and shot fire again! Turns out the gas hose inside the machine melted at the front panel connector. I'll post a photo when I get a chance.

Hey ssparko, I know that guy used for your avatar. I worked on his computer once. He ended up in the PEN for attempting to molest an under age girl through a meeting setup in an online chat room (the teenage girl actually was a police woman). BUSTED!

.... Wow. You not only outed the guy, but flat out "Why don't you have a seat over here"'d him.

You sir, are the secondary Chris Hanson. Well played.

Hey Nick, My working on his computer was an unrelated event to the one that sent him up. The terminal event happened a number of years after my repair to his machine. when I did my repair he was only physically abusing computer equipment and had not "graduated" to children yet.

I only expeirinced this when my leads were backwards! On my machine tig torch has to be on right side if your looking at the front of the machine and ground on left side
