New Forum Changes and New Contest

Hi Guys/Gals

The new forum is still under development. We are working on enhancing the user experience with welding.

We will also, finally launch our newest contest, which I believe will be the 6th LONGEVITY welding contest on www.freeweldingforum.com. The prize will be one to compete for.

Our forum colors, issues, photopost, and other things should be resolved very soon. Our goal is to get most of the work done tonight.

I'm liking the new look. It takes some looking around to do some stuff but I think it will be much more useful with the new format once used to it. Thanks for all your efforts Simon and Longevity.

I like how you can promote the post to an article right there on the spot. The forum will definitely make for a better user experience. I hope people enjoy it once its fully up and running.

Just kidding I love new and better stuff. I tried to post some cool pictures of the welder in action. They are stills taken from that HD footage. I can't believe how good of stills you can get from that video check them out on my website freddyflores.com under the albums. I can post them here once it's working.

Did you have problems posting photos Freddy? The photo upload worked for me.

Nice update to the Forum, looks like lots of enhancements we'll all have to get used to! Had a little trouble signing in, happened last change as well; had to have password reset many times and on second day all now is well. So if any are having troubles and are viewing messages as a guest since you can't get on; reset your password and wait a day; worked for me...

We are working on the color theme right now. I am currently not as happy with all the blue, but these things will get fixed within the next few days.

Password should now be fixed. Good idea about the rest if necessary, but I think the database is working properly. One cool things about this forum is the promote to article feature. So if there is a good thread, we can move it to an article.
