Well we got the backup database restored but it only brought us up to 4/24/11. We are at the mercy of GoDaddy to provide us with the correct data. I've sent a message to Simon to see if there is a newer backup but haven't heard back yet. Keep in mind, if there is a more recent backup that we can get any posts made between now and that restore will get lost. This is a shame but as I said, we are at the mercy of GoDaddy and I think they are giving us the run around.

I just talked with the developers and they say GoDaddy said that the current restore was the most recent backup they have. It's 6 days short of what we had but apparently GoDaddy didn't do what they promised (nightly backup) so this is as good as it gets. Any posts made between 4/24 and 5/1 have been lost. Sorry for the inconvenience and data loss. The good news about all this is we are now at a different hosting service and things should be more reliable now.

1.No, not into Danica at all, I've seen prettier chicks at the mall.

    2. I know that the owner of HostGator (Brent) is very much like Simon from Longevity. He's young and he's out there on forums talking with customers to show he just like everyone else and is willing to make things right.
They have a 99.9% uptime guarantee which is rare. And $7.95 a month for three years seems damn fair!

    3. FatCow Sucks!
