Dear Members:

On Sunday March 22nd, Longevity will be switching our forums from PHBB3 to Vbulletin. This change will allow us to compete with the top forums in the business and it will also allow us to improve the quality of the forums with new features and additions.

PLEASE NOTE THE SWITCH TO THE NEW FORUM WILL REQUIRE ALL MEMBERS TO RESET THEIR PASSWORDS VIA EMAIL. WE WILL SEND A NOTIFICATION with your UNIQUE PASSWORD. You will sign on with your user name and your password will be assigned to you temporarily. It will need to be changed once you login as it will expire.

In addition to that, this is the best way to correct this problem that everyone is having with posts. I thank you all for sticking with Longevity during this troubling time. I promise that the new forum will be something no one has ever seen before and will be the leading forum on the web for years to come!

Simon,
Will any of our posts be migrated over? If not will we have read rights to this forum for awhile so we can copy some of them ourselves? There is a lot of good information here that would be nice to have on the new site. If this is not possible it shouldn't be that big of a deal though. The new site will soon be full of good information as well. Thanks to you and your team for putting this together for us.

We are backing up the database before transition. This forum has so much useful information that if it was lost, we would be in big trouble. All posts, avatars, pictures, everything will be copied over.

The only thing you will need to do is change your password once you login as we will supply a unique password for each user. PHbb3 has an encrypted password that will not transfer to vbulletin thus we must reset.
