I have a Milwaukee 5.5amp 4 1/2,Bosch 5.3 amp 4 1/2,and a Makita 6.4 amp 4 in. I like the Bosch best of all.It has less amps and works better than any of them.

I have one 7...5" grinder, and three smaller 4.5" units, and use all of them. I usually leave a grinding wheel on one, a cutting wheel on another, a wire brush on another, and a diamond wheel on the other.
I usually buy whatever is on sale cheap at the time, because they get abused so badly that I figure I can afford to replace them if they fail. The most expensive one is a Dewalt, but so far I have found it doesn't work any better than the cheap $20 units I have. - - maybe it's just me.

Miller 180 Auto-Set MIG,
Custom 5hp compressor,
ive had my 2 10 amp dewalts for going on 7 years now, but they are starting to smell funny at times, so it might be time to replace them... i had a HF grinder that when i turned it on, grinded for about 20 minutes, then it started to smell funny and got HOT.... i turned it off, then tried again a little later and it didnt do anything... next one on my list to buy is the 13 amp dewalt with soft start and the e-clutch.... we'll see

I have a Milwaukee 4 1/2in and an old Black & Decker 7in. The B&D was made before B&D started with Dewalt. I use the Milwaukee the most because it is light and does the job.

I have an old Craftsman 7" that's been around about 28 or 30 yrs. and I try not to have to use it no more than that. It gets heavy fast, but it sure will take some metal down. My goto is a Makita 9005B 5", and then I have a B&D 4" that is just used for wire wheel.
