    Albino,

Sorry to hear about your father in law passing. We also apologize do not agree with our warranty. I noticed on everlast website that the returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee and Lotos offers a lesser length warranty than both LONGEVITY and Everlast.

It comes down to engineering, treating customers equally with respect, and insuring that our products continuously improve, which I feel LONGEVITY excels at. Sure there are some advantages with choosing one company or another and there is plenty of competition, but if you look at the duration of our history, you will see that LONGEVITY always strives to fully satisfy. I cannot change what legal layouts we have in one day but we will look into it to see how we can keep renters away and still keep others happy. I can assure you that what was stated policy wise at the time of your order is what you would expect through the course of 5 years. I can also assure you we test each unit before it leaves our warehouse, including the machine you picked up as it was a brand new unit. You can see the tips being used on all torches when you receive the unit. Ultimately, you have to make the decision about the warranty that is clearly stated on our site and decide whether you choose to accept it or look elsewhere as an informed buyer. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and we hope that you find what you are looking for in your welding adventures.

    Thank you

    Simon

What happened to the rest of Albino Rino's post? The one with the time line?

It sounded like he may have had a point.

Weird that we never heard the end to this story. I have an Everlast dealer/salesman in my area who sells units on Chicago Clist. I bought Longevity after reading many forums and am 100% happy with my purchase. My past experience is only with Miller and HTP. HTP has great customer support as well and their headquarters is about 45 minutes from me. I'll be moving to AZ soon and I think Longevity has their main place there if I'm not mistaken. With that, I will probably buy my next machine from them too if they are in fact close to my new home.
