    Does anyone know?

What the size/pitch/etc. of the threads in the torch head electrode holder for a s45 torch is? We have a weldall 160 that the electrode apparently partially fused in and when we removed the electrode it messed up some of the threads. Now, we can't fully insert an electrode in the thing and I think I may be able to tap the threads if we knew what size/pitch the threads were. I took an old electrode and was able to partially screw it on to the point the threads were bad and got it to work decently for the moment, but I don't know if a new electrode will be able to be seated far enough in the torch head to allow the tip/nozzle to be put back on properly. May be too long. This is the only plasma cutter we have that is working right now so we are currently in a bind trying to get a few projects out that we have deadlines on so it is aggravating to say the least.

I would take a new electrode to the hardware store and look for a metric nut that will fit the threads. I think it is metric but if you can't find one you could also try a standard thread nut.

I am aware that the Trifimet torch is the same visually as the Hobart 250ci and 500i torch, if you need to source parts locally or at a local LWS,came back and checked and pretty sure they are close if you are in a bind and can't wait for parts.

The electrode thread on my S45 torch is 10-32. Sense the consumables are all the same, this should be good for all S45 torches.

Good deal. I made contact with the area rep for trifamet and he sent me an electronic catalog with all the parts of the trifamet torches and told me that whatever I needed, whether it be consumables or torch parts, to let him know and I could get them from him. He can't sell directly to me but if I order from him he will in turn send it to the local Fastenal store or to Nordan Smith and I will run my transaction through them. Don't know why fastenal or Nordan don't carry trifamet or parts for them but yet they can handle the transaction for the trifamet rep... It works, but it don't make much sense to me.

Kinda like wiping your butt before you crap.
