    torch guide

    Gadget I started putting together cutter guide for my LP-70 torch I wondered If you have a good pic. of your cutter guide

    Ok, now I curious as I have lots of dead harddrives. Are you using the aluminum spacer rings? I'll have to look up what Gadget has done as I am about to remake my stencil tracer as it's never good enough

    Looked at Gadgets gallery, but came up empty. How do I find a picture of his torch guide?

    ISKI, Yes hard drive spacer ring, I think that thay came from old breadbox size drives I will try to find out. I will post pics tonight when I get home.

    I think you are looking for KHK's post, he was the one who made a circle cutter torch guide.

    Posted Pics in the gallery, Made from 0.98 I.D. hard drive washer Tap for Thumb screws 6-32 from PC case screws 2 ea. Tap 4-40 2 ea. for height adjusters cut from scrap aluminum laying around slot cut on drill press to fit 4-40 screws drill and tap 1/4-20 for rollers used 1/4 brvel washers for wheels and WALA!! Works for me! Now I need to make templets to cut out and make stuff for the yard. Hope this helpes.

    Lee, nice job. To think that I have thrown away about a hundred of the rings, and just kept a few platters, and the magnets. Last year I used the magnets for the take your kids to work day. I used old CDROM disks, HardDrive magenets, wire, some wood squares, and dowels to have each kid make a generator. I gave them each a meter, an we had a contest to see who could generate the highest voltage.
