My hobby is to collect and restore old Gravely tractors and the other day I got a call from a guy who wanted to sell one. After we cut a deal and I loaded it up, he asked if I wanted a snow plow that would fit it. I said sure because those are very popular right now. He showed it to me and I noticed he had welded a couple of steel bars on the back of it because he didn't have the factory plow mounts. I looked it over and he had blobbed it on there good! As I thought about the hours of hacksawing that it would take to remove the bars, and as I was about to say "no", the little voice in my head said to me, "you could use your new plasma cutter on that". I told him I would take it and we loaded it up. It was warm today so I fired up the 200PI and cut off the extra metal. With some cleanup work, I have a sell-able item that will make somebody very happy. And I'll have the first paying return on my investment. I'm liking this machine!

When I got divorced, my ex gave away my gravely Industrial 422 with mower deck and plow in nice condition. It's pretty old, and our neighbor would borrow it to cut the his grass in the horse paddock when it got over 2 foot tall. Nothing could stop the thing. I loved it;(

It's nice to see your getting good use out of your plasma cutter...
Im now finding myself designing projects around my plasma cutter and CNC table.
Now I just need a bigger shop to fit everything in.

I did some stuff on a trailer the other day and used up a tip and electrode on my 200PI and know enough to be more careful when cutting steel with some dirt piled up behind it, it really slows down the performance of the unit, but you can not ever know what is behind some stuff. It was angle iron welded verticle and dirt came in behind it on a trailer.Good reason to always have some consummables handy.
