    Hi Dan couple pictures where you connect the pilot cable in your hf touch plasma torch and where you running the cable ( to the ground or to your plasma machine) let me know thanks Carlos

    If you are referring to the torch photos of my CNC table the pilot arc wire goes to my ground since my cutter doesn't have pilot arc. If you have pilot arc then I would connect it to that lug. Hope this is what you wanted to know Carlos.

    That is my question.i have one simadre 520d hf touch. My question is where you put the cable on the torch and where you put the end of the cable?

    Dan I need make some pieces at the time I get my force cut 80i. is hard to me running my controller at the time go to the table to pick up the material to open the arc and the machine biging to cut.

    Does that have the SG55 torch? I took a piece of sheet steel and cut a hole in it that would fit over the threads that the collar screws to. This metal should make contact with the metal threads and have a tab big enough to connect a heavy stranded wire to. The other end of that wire should connect directly to the ground wire either at the cutter or the ground clamp.
    I'll try to get some pictures of the setup I have tomorrow.

    Glad it worked out for you Carlos. Just remember to turn off the plasma cutter when placing your hands around the torch. Don't trust the computer to not fire up at an unexpected time.
