plasma torch standoff

Years ago I used a hypertherm handheld torch with this style of standoff. I liked it for ease of removal and its compactness making a good guide for tracing plywood templates. I'm quite skeptical of the two washers bolted to a coupling guide for template type work. Anyone find one of these that fit the s45?

The only ones that I have seen are the roller and wire types.

Looks like you could make one out of a piece of pipe,if you could find the right size pipe.

The pic doesn't show it well, but it's almost a spring clamp type fit.

Use thin wall stainless pipe just a tad smaller than the torch,cut out the design,then cut the side so it will open some when you force it on.It might work if you can't find one.

I'd make a template out of paper then go to the local machine shop and get some .025 spring steel and make my own, or get the one longevity sells out of spring steel wire,their cheap enough it does not warrant making one, and is pretty much the same thing except the inside is not filled in.

in a pinch you can use 2 pieces of wire and a hose clamp
