    Plasma cutting into a corner

    Just thinking
I want to cut the bottom out of my tractor bucket from the inside using the side of the bucket as a guide. I would like to use my Longevety Cut 50. The distance from the outside of the nozzle to the center of the tip is 1/2 inch. I would like the cut to be right against the side of the bucket. Is there a way to cut this from the inside.
On second thought maybe I should cut it from the bottom and tack weld a piece of angle iron or something for a guide. The material is !/4 inch thick.
    How would you do it.

Can you not use the inside as a guide and angle the torch abit and clean it all up with a grinder?

I think that welding a guide would work the best.

I Second the guide...I'm a big guide fan...
Would not have to deal with an angled cut also.

I think I'll go with that. I'll tack a guide bar to the bottom of the bucket. but it sure would be easier on me using tiggk's suggestion too.
Probably thinking about it too much, just need to get out there and do it.
