    I used to always keep a small bucket of water and wet rag around when I gas welded when I was a kid. Often put a gloved hand in it to cool things down. I realize now after your incident that I don't even have a fire extinguisher close by just in case. I guess I need to change my ways too because the last thing I want to do is end up in a sewing class. Especially with my wife.
