    What shade lens do yall use to cut? 50 amp?

    On my auto darking helmet the minum setting is 9 that is what I use for plasma cutting.

    Are there specific lenses for certain types of welding. I guess the flash or arc is brighter

    The arc is brighter the more amps you should be fine with a 5 or 6 forsure I use a shade 3 to 4 on my auto darkening hood in grind cutting mode most of the time. If it's too bright and your seeing spots when you flip upyour hood geta darker lens.
