Over Heated Tig Torch

over heated my #17 Flex Head Torch, to a point that I had to use Vise Grips to get the tail caps off (broke that of course) and also had to remove the Collet Body the same way.
but couldn't reuse the torch, nothing would thread into it!!cursingicon

Luckily I didn't throw it away!applaud
ordered a tap and received today
THE FIX run a 3/8"-32 non-taper tap threw it !!
Got back works like brand new CoolMan

I suppose the good news is the machine will hold up to heavy use.
Maybe you need a water cooler.
I can't imagine doing that much welding.

Just purchased a water cooler today, had enough! Just can't get enough of it, but when I get the Time, want to make the most of it. I JUST DON"T WANT TO STOP !!!!

a 145 about a week and half but have a spare and ordered a 50/50 Argon/Helium Today
