My TIG came with a short flex hose, but I stoped using it several years ago. When I purchased the longer hose I forgot about it. I really should dig out the shorter flex hose and try it again as if memory serves it was better. I wonder if I could connect the short flex hose to a longer rigid hose that I have?

I think we have got off track, the only way to keep your torch cooler, is with shorter welding time or with a water cooled torch
as for connecting a hose to another I'm not sure if you can do that

Tom, been really busy as of late, so I have had web silenceI have connected two 15 foot cables and the setup was not a problem with steel. They were both Radnor's. My short hose came with the Lincoln but I think it has the same hose fittings.
