    some tig pics of mine

    these were done with a 200pi... the aluminum was 1/4 inch 6061 t-651 and 5356 filler... i placed a quarter for size reference... the other pic is .040 high alloy steel DC tig also done with the 200pi... i also placed a quarter for size reference

    top 2 pics are dc tig and the bottom 2 are aluminum AC tig

    they were baby welds on the top 2 and its getting harder and harder for me to see them, so i do wobble some while tryin to see it.....

    Stan-- Beautiful beads, just one ? why do the beads in the top pics look like they are laying flat or is it my old eyes can't see right

    Looks like the first pic was done with steel "odleo", on thin stock.This the beauty of tig, I weld sheet metal and have got to make it into the LWS and get some 0.040 e70-s6 filler because I have been using mig wire twisted back on itself in a pinch and you get such a nice flat even weld that their is minimal grinding, a person could almost start the weld with filler on a butt weld and pull the filler away for an autonmous weld.
    Like to see how you finish aluminum on inside corners, finshed butt weld ends and some pulsed thin stock if you have the time.This is where I have some problems.
